Clutch Kit (3 Piece) 3.4/3.8 1950-1964

Fits all 6 Cylinder XK Engines with a 10"-254mm clutch fitted. Most Jaguar Models up to 1964

10 inch kit with a coil spring operated pressure plate. This 3 piece kit contains the pressure plate, Clutch Disc and Release Bearing (with clips)  1 set per car.

Jaguar fitted a 10" coil spring operated pressure plate assembly from the first XK120 XK engine up to the first 4.2 XKE. Due to the increase of horse power Jaguar would change the clamping pressure accordingly resulting in an 50% increase between the clutch fitted to the XK120 and the XKE 3.8. From 1964 Jaguar switch supplier and all 3.4, 3.8 and 4.2 had a 9.5" diaphragm operated clutch fitted. This new clutch has an improved clamping pressure with a softer pedal feel and less pedal pressure. As a special ordered item Jaguar would still fit the 10" clutch to later cars, mainly done for competition use. The clamping pressure on the later 9.5" clutch was 1600 pounds of clamping pressure. All early cars with the 10" clutch fitted can be retro fitted with the 9.5" clutch. The flywheel needs to be adapted (drilled) to take the 9.5" clutch or you can order our aluminum flywheel which is dual drilled and will accept the 9.5 and the 10" clutch. See listings below.

All returns must include a copy of the invoice. If the invoice is lost and cannot be located the return will be delayed.

We will not accept any returns after 45 days so please inspect your order upon receipt. (Cores Exempt)

Electrical parts are not returnable for any reason except in cases where the part is defective or the part was looked up incorrectly. Once an electrical part has been installed it can only be returned if found to be defective.

There is a 20% re-stocking fee assessed to all special order parts returns. (Cores Exempt)

Cores for re-manufactured parts must be returned to us in the original box will all the core tags attached. All cores must be fully assembled and with no external damage.

Should you receive a damaged package or part please notify UPS immediately, and then call us (800)851-9438, so that we can help to correct the problem.

All orders must be inspected upon receipt, if there is any damage is must be noted on the bill of lading. If damage is found after the shipment is accepted the carrier must be notified within 48 hours to be able to file a concealed damage claim.

Accessories installed at the time of the new vehicle purchase are covered for 36 months/36,000 miles, from the vehicle's in-service date, whichever occurs first, under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Accessories installed by the dealer after the new vehicle purchase are covered for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the accessory installation date, or the remainder of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever provides greater coverage.

Accessories purchased over-the-counter are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Car covers are warranted for 12 months from the purchase date and are not covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty
