Ball Joint - Upper

Genuine Jaguar upper ball joint. 2 per car.

This is the sealed for life later style ball joint Jaguar fitted from approx 1986 onward. This ball joint has not grease nipple and is non serviceable. Its a fit and forget solution made for Jaguar by Lemfoerder in Germany.

This upper ball joint can be used as an replacement on earlier cars as well except for the XKE, E-type Models. See comment below.

The early upper ball joint is assembled with a grease nipple and a replaceable rubber boot (gaiter). We call this a rebuild-able ball joint. When replacing the rebuild-able ball joint with this "sealed for life" style ball joint greasing the ball joint is not necessary and or possible. Furthermore the design of the later upper ball joint is slightly different and visually looks different. We therefore suggest replacing them in pairs.

All returns must include a copy of the invoice. If the invoice is lost and cannot be located the return will be delayed.

We will not accept any returns after 45 days so please inspect your order upon receipt. (Cores Exempt)

Electrical parts are not returnable for any reason except in cases where the part is defective or the part was looked up incorrectly. Once an electrical part has been installed it can only be returned if found to be defective.

There is a 20% re-stocking fee assessed to all special order parts returns. (Cores Exempt)

Cores for re-manufactured parts must be returned to us in the original box will all the core tags attached. All cores must be fully assembled and with no external damage.

Should you receive a damaged package or part please notify UPS immediately, and then call us (800)851-9438, so that we can help to correct the problem.

All orders must be inspected upon receipt, if there is any damage is must be noted on the bill of lading. If damage is found after the shipment is accepted the carrier must be notified within 48 hours to be able to file a concealed damage claim.

Accessories installed at the time of the new vehicle purchase are covered for 36 months/36,000 miles, from the vehicle's in-service date, whichever occurs first, under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Accessories installed by the dealer after the new vehicle purchase are covered for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the accessory installation date, or the remainder of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever provides greater coverage.

Accessories purchased over-the-counter are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Car covers are warranted for 12 months from the purchase date and are not covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty
