Rear Main Oil Seal Conversion 4.2 ltr Engines

Fits All Jaguar 4.2 & All XK engines with ribbed Aluminum Oil pans and the outer sealing strip fitted to the inside of the sump, the oil seal bracket is smooth on the outside. We recommend watching our instruction video below before ordering.

Now you can fix that leaky rear main seal on your 6 cylinder Jaguar engine once and for all!

This new kit replaces the rope seal and housing with a new billet aluminum housing that uses a two piece Teflon lip type oil seal. Please note that the crankshaft must be machined to 2.632" at the sealing area before installation and this must be carried out by a qualified machine shop. We use a high temperature oil seal set, so this modification is perfect for competition engines as well.

All returns must include a copy of the invoice. If the invoice is lost and cannot be located the return will be delayed.

Electrical parts are not returnable for any reason except in cases where the part is defective or the part was looked up incorrectly. Once an electrical part has been installed it can only be returned if found to be defective.

There is a 20% re-stocking fee assessed to all special order parts returns. (Cores Exempt)

Cores for re-manufactured parts must be returned to us in the original box will all the core tags attached. All cores must be fully assembled and with no external damage.

Should you receive a damaged package or part please notify UPS immediately, and then call us (800)851-9438, so that we can help to correct the problem.

All orders must be inspected upon receipt, if there is any damage is must be noted on the bill of lading. If damage is found after the shipment is accepted the carrier must be notified within 48 hours to be able to file a concealed damage claim.

Accessories installed at the time of the new vehicle purchase are covered for 36 months/36,000 miles, from the vehicle's in-service date, whichever occurs first, under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Accessories installed by the dealer after the new vehicle purchase are covered for 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the accessory installation date, or the remainder of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever provides greater coverage.

Accessories purchased over-the-counter are covered for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Car covers are warranted for 12 months from the purchase date and are not covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty
